The 3 parameters
( flow, pressure and noise ) are permanently measured trough the calm
night hours ( between 3 and 4 a.m. ), then calculated, saved, and later
on forwarded to a central PC. Every deviation in the comparison between
actual and previous values i.e. increased flow, changed flow - direction,
decreased pressure and / or higher noise ( leak or flow noise ) is automatically
registered and displayed with an alarm done by the WLM - Software. Assumed
that all registered leakages are repaired a permanent improvement of
the water loss situation which is mostly provoked through constantly
appearing leaks is granted.
